India News: Pictured is Sikh youth Bhai Gurpreet Singh Guri who took to the stage at the World Kabaddi Cup final celebrations to protest in support of Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa whilst singer Jaspinder Narula was performing.
Bhai Gurpreet Singh of village Hans Kalan, Ludhiana snatched the microphone to raise his voice against the Punjab Government's indifferent attitude towards Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa and the release campaign for six Sikh political prisoners who despite serving their sentences, continue to languish in jail.
Bhai Sahib himself belongs to a Shaheed Parivar. As the microphone was muted his words were not heard however the media are beginning to falsely report he was intoxicated.
His safety is now paramount.
